A mobile app for trading local goods with location-based search, customizable range filters, and real-time messaging. Developed in an Agile environment

Barter Trader makes it easy for people in small communities to share and exchange items, promoting reuse and reducing waste. The idea grew out of challenges common on university campuses, where students frequently have useful items they no longer need. This functionality is powered by location-based discovery, range filtering, and real-time messaging. Over four months, I led a team of five developers to design and build the full system, including authentication, category filtering, dynamic listings with images, and smooth real-time updates using Firebase and the Google Maps API.
